“Karl mentioned the masculine/feminine silhouette, the decor, and the fact that were going to do a show at night and the flashlight shoes. That’s where the veil/burglar idea came from. The focus is on the eyes, but through a veil. Skin is pure with a hint of blush and the lips are velvet peach. On the nails we used Chanel’s classic Le Vernis Blue Satin, a timeless night blue. I wanted to create an eye that would read through a veil, that’s why I used Illusion d’Ombre in Mirifique, a pitch black with starlight sparkles. Eyes that see in the dark and nails the shade of night.
